As a Gas Heating Service Technician, you will provide reliable and meaningful service for residential and commercial customers in your community, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas heating systems. Your goal will be to apply your specialized knowledge and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve heating system issues, maintain detailed service records, and support ongoing compliance. Your success will depend on your technical proficiency, customer-focused approach, attention to safety and ability to perform consistently in a dynamic environment to customer satisfaction and overall excellence of the service team.

Your Role:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and related heating equipment
- Diagnose heating system issues using proper diagnostic tools and complete efficient, code-compliant repairs
- Conduct final inspections to ensure systems operate safely and meet industry standards
- Complete accurate daily service reports and documentation for each customer visit
- Manage and maintain inventory of parts and supplies on a daily and yearly basis
- Keep the service vehicle clean, stocked, and mechanically reliable
- Perform additional duties as required to support team efficiency and service excellence
- Participate in rotational on-call schedule for evenings and weekends
- Rotational on call evenings and weekends
Your Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational habits, and a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as driving, lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and operating at heights up to 50 ft
- Skilled in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting propane-fired and heating systems
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, service-oriented environment and enhance departmental productivity
Your Experience:
- A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset
- Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required
